Imagine joining a team of passionate, enthusiastic CSR/Sustainability professionals who want to take their collective, positive impact to a new level – and they are willing to challenge conventional mental models along the way. Welcome to the 2016/2017 Cohort of the Certificate in CSR/Sustainability at the University of St. Michael’s College, in the University of Toronto.
The 2016/2017 Cohort of the Certificate in CSR/Sustainability brings together the perspectives of 5 countries and 10 industry sectors. These “architects of intention” from the United Arab Emirates, Ghana, United States, Costa Rica and Canada work in the consumer products, financial, telecommunications, mining, travel, renewable energy, lottery and gaming, oil and gas, automotive and education sectors.
Their Capstone projects will range from a first sustainability report, best practices for supply chains, finding the best approach for stakeholder engagement and measuring the impact of their Community Investment initiatives.
They will explore concepts such as shared value, the circular economy, conscious capitalism and create plans to embed CSR and sustainability throughout their organizations.
