SR&S Grad Featured in Rotman (U of T) Management Magazine

Alexandra Biron, SR&S Graduate from 2019 was recently featured in Rotman’s Management Magazine as: “The woman leading Deloitte Canada’s Reconciliation Action Plan”. Alexandra is a 2019 SR&S graduate at the University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto. Her 2019 Award Winning President’s Capstone project was Deloitte’s first “Indigenous Impact Report”. Since this time Alexandra has lead the development, implementation and reporting on Deloitte’s Reconciliation Action Plan. She returns to our program annually to provide an update on key measures and achievements of the plan.

Through Alexandra, Deloitte has kindly provided SR&S Students with access to their “4 Seasons of Reconciliation” Training Program which was created in collaboration with the First Nations University of Canada.

We love to see our graduates celebrated and feel some measure of pride when they are recognized for their leadership and positive impact in this world. Congratulations Alexandra!

About the Graduate Diploma in Social Responsibility & Sustainability

Fourty participants are accepted annually to the St. Michael’s program, which attracts students from across Canada and around the world from sectors as diverse as banking and manufacturing to education and NGOs. This “work as you learn” program enables participants to take their career in Social Responsibility, Sustainability and ESG to the next level. Participants tackle and resolve a Sustainability/ESG challenge in their company in a major Action Project under the mentorship of faculty and co-learners; learn from global thought leaders; experience practical “real world” change management through the ExperienceChange™ Simulation and join a prestigious community of St. Michael’s Alumni in continuing education, sharing and networking. Graduates receive the post-nominal letters G.Dipl.SR&S.

The Diploma will start applications for 2024/25 Cohort in January. Only 40 applicants are accepted. To apply, go to the Diploma in Social Responsibility and Sustainability Website. First Intake Deadline is March 31, 2024.
