SUMMARY:Module 4 - Social Impact Measurement Professional Certificate
DESCRIPTION:Module 4: Making the Business Case for your Social Impact Program (Micro-Credential)\nPerquisites: To receive a Certificate for this module\, the learning must have completed Modules 2 and 3. \nIn this Module create a business and impact case for senior leaders that articulates the added business value and costs associated with your social impact program initiative. \n\nIdentify the opportunities and risks associated with your social impact objectives.\nDescribe key elements that determine good data for impact creation within your organization.\nExamine the enablers and barriers to effective impact measurement and discuss what this means for your organization.\nDetermine the estimated cost of implementation of your social impact program based on cost allocation methods. This will result in cost per data point collected\, total aggregate cost of each data collection method. Critically assess this data against the organizational context in which the impact measurement is taking place.\nReview different options for cost allocation between funders and partners/all people affected.\nEvaluate the full cost of ownership of a social impact measurement strategy from the lens of long-term sustainability of the proposed plan.\nAssess the shared plan for engaging with partners/all people affected and examine their needs for reporting\, to enable reporting across multiple partner types for education and data empowerment.\nAnalyze the systems change required and the intersectionality of systems such as climate change and equity.\nIdentify opportunities that the social impact measurement strategy opens for the organization\, and critically assess these opportunities against the cost of undertaking them.\nSelect/develop a capacity building strategy and plan to ensure resourcing is available for the social impact measurement strategy.\n\nDeliverable and Culminating Assessment:\n\nUsing your insights from the current module\, and module 2 and 3\, determine the business and impact case for senior leadership\, that provides a cost of implementation\, alignment with original drivers of the business strategy\, and discusses the added business value the implementation will bring.\nIdentify weak points in the business case that will need to be strengthened for organizational buy-in.\n\nNext Offering: January 16\, 20\, 23\, 27 and 29\, 2026\, Synchronous On-line for 2 weeks (5 lectures\, 12 noon to 1:30 pm ET) with asynchronous readings and assignments. \n\nEarly Bird Discount: $720 plus HST (Until November 30th\, 2025)\nRegular Registration: $800 plus HST\nAlumni Discount: $640 plus HST\n\nInstructor: Anshula Chowdhury\, LEAD Instructor and Former CEO\, SAMETRICA \n \n*Please see below for Early Registration\, Alumni\, Bundled Course and Organizational Discounts. \n\nEarly Registration\, Alumni\, Bundled Course and Organizational Discounts\n\n\n\nDiscount Type\nAmount or Percent\n\n\nSR&S Certificate or Diploma Alumni\n20% Discount\n\n\nEarly Registration (2 months prior to the course)\n10% Discount\n\n\nMulti-course **\nSign up for 2 courses: 15% Discount \nSign up for 3 courses: 20% Discount\n\n\nOrganizational Discounts **\nSign up 5 participants for the same course for the price of 4 (get one free)\n\n\n** Applicants for a discount must first complete the request for discount form on the website by identifying the class of discount and uploading the required information. \nApplicants will receive an email advising them of the outcome of their application and if successful providing them with a code. \nApplicants must register for the course and apply the code to receive the discounts. \nDiscounts have no cash value and are non-transferable. \nOnly one discount can apply to a course or program.\n\n\n\n  \n\nCancellation Policy:\nRegistered but can’t attend? \nRegistrations are transferable to other associates within your organization or can be transferred toward a USMC SR&S course within the same business year. \nCancellations 1 month from the course are 100% refundable. Cancellations less than 1 month but more than 2 weeks receive a 50% refund of fees paid. Confirmed registrants who cancel within 2 weeks of the course date or fail to attend\, will be charged 100% of the registration fee and are not entitled to a refund. \nUSMC reserves the right to cancel an event or any associated functions at its sole discretion. In the event of such\, a full refund will be made. USMC expressly excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses or damages howsoever arising as a result of such cancellation and will not\, for example\, be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred. \nIn the event of cancellation\, USMC will use reasonable actions to alert those who have booked to attend an event and details of any cancellation will be posted on the course website page.
